An idyllic photograph of my Uncle Aaron in the Big House yard. The little girl in the photo is Suzanne, and behind them is Martha Joy. Thank you for the photograph Ken.
Somebody stood in the road to the chicken house to take this view from the Big House looking north. To the right is a big field of tobacco somebody was raising on the place next to old Lock C Road as it was called then.
The Big House is in the background but this is the way I remember the circle drive being when i was growing up there. That loop was always such a distinctive feature of walking and driving around the homeplace.
This is a great photo of my father and my Aunt Vira. My father had such nice white hair and blue eyes. Thank you Ken for the photo.
